Mahlaare Gideon Mogale (born September 26, 2002) is a South African rapper, singer, and record producer, better known by his stage name Yangsta Tempest. He began rapping at a tender age as a way to cope with anxiety and depressive thoughts. By doing so, he escaped reality and lived in a fantasy world with unrealistic expectations. He is a storyteller and a melodious rapper who commonly uses Auto-Tune in his songs. His main musical influences are Toosii, Sik World, and Corner Maynard.
